1946, primo volo USA - Italia, cartolina con le bandiere degli Stati Uniti e del Vaticano del 31.3.1946 da New York a Città del Vaticano, affrancata con Roosevelt 5 c. azzurro chiaro due esemplari (uno all'interno + posta aerea 6 c. carmino in quartina); a Città del Vaticano la cartolina venne affrancata con 1 L. e 5 L. Medaglioni e rispedita il 4.4.1946 con il volo inaugurale ROMA-WASHINGTON, giungende poi da Wshington a New York il 6.4.; interessante e non comune (Sass. 32, 94, Mi. USA 500, 537)
